Inter Regional Team Competition

Five teams lined up for the Inter Regional Team competition in Coil Óg on Sunday the 19/7/15. A full calendar of equestrian events throughout the country made it difficult for some regions to be represented, however for those who did, it proved to be an enjoyable day. The South Eastern Region sent a strong team and Leinster the host Region fielded four teams.

Young Riders all under the age of 23 years of age competed at levels ranging from Preliminary to Advanced. It was an opportunity for young riders to catch up with others within their own region and make new friendships with riders from other regions.

It was the Leinster Red Team of Kevin Acres, Orla Harrington and Tara Hayes who claimed first place on a average score of 68.89%.

Followed closely by the Leinster Green Team on a score of 67.80% consisting of Annalisa Zieg, Nicole Groyer and Meagan Fleming.

The South Eastern Team of Rachel Dowley, Liam Van Der Veen and Bonnie O’ Reilly made it a worth while trip , taking up the Third slot on a average score of 66.66%.
